Eumorphia is a real-time communications platform built on Cadre using concepts and tools from the Paralogue framework. Based on the notion of a virtual world, users navigate through a set of chatrooms through either a central index or door-like links. Each room's view updates in real-time, using periodic Javascript polling, and is paginated for easy viewing. The result is an experience similar to Google Wave.
Eumorphia takes its influences from game environments like MOO/MUD/MUSH/MUCKs and The Palace, and readily lends itself to collaborative storytelling features like multiple characters. Plans for future enhancements include scripted events, inventory items, and NPCs.
